Part-Time Residential Advocate:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate team player to join our agency as a part-time Residential Advocate. The Residential Advocate will play a crucial role in supporting families affected by domestic violence. This position operates within our emergency shelter and is responsible for implementing the mission of Crossroads by educating, advocating and empowering survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, intimate partner violence, family violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking. These responsibilities will include:
- Answering the 24/7 crisis hotline and text/chat hotline.
- Contributing to the cleaning and maintenance lists.
- Maintain proper documentation of client interactions and services provided.
- Assistance with logging, sorting, and putting away donations.
- Maintain functionality of the shelter and resident’s rooms.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Strong organization, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Understanding of trauma informed care and empowerment skills
- Maintain confidentiality and work with a diverse population

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate team player to join our agency as a part-time Case Manager. The Case Manager will play a crucial role in supporting families affected by domestic violence. This position operates at the Safe Exchange Center assisting survivors and their children by facilitating custody exchanges and necessary communication between both parties while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for the families we serve. This position provides additional assistance to survivors by providing domestic violence education, ongoing safety planning, and more. This position is also responsible for community development and collaborations, program outcome management, and assisting with collaboration meetings.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in social work or a related field, or equivalent experience in advocacy.
- Strong organization, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with a diverse population.
- Knowledge of domestic violence and trauma informed care preferred.
